Bar San Calisto – in Trastevere since 1969
In the 1960s Marcello Forti decided to leave Busci, a town in the province of L'Aquila to come to Rome, in search of a new job perspective. Initially he does various jobs always in the catering sector. From the dishwasher to the waiter to the assistant cook. At the end of the 60s he had the opportunity to buy the bar, which was for sale by the previous management.

Initially it was just a shutter with a haberdashery shop next to it, then, given that things were going well and there was a need for internal space, when the haberdashery decided to close Marcello did not miss the opportunity to expand. Now, even on cold days it can be consumed in the internal room full of paintings and souvenirs that the many lovers of Bar San Calisto have produced.
