Principe di Firenze was founded in the town from which it takes its name, and over the years has become synonymous with "life style", first in Tuscany, then in Italy and in the world.
Firenze, the cradle of the Renaissance and of fashion, is the place where the artisan tradition of workshops has spread its wings through innovation, development and ongoing research of design.

The first Principe di Firenze workshop was established in 1930 in the central Strozzi Square thanks to Sergio Doni who, following the tradition of his family, undertook the production of custom-made clothing; in particular shirts and ties for men, which were inspired in part by the "military style" of the period and in part by the "English style".

80 years later, Principe di Firenze now claims a network of stores located in "symbolic" areas of Tuscany - Firenze, Forte dei Marmi and Lucca - where an international and refined clientele can feel at home while enjoying the warm atmosphere created by furniture and objects coming directly from the owner's private collection.

Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region, is home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. One of its most iconic sights is the Duomo, a cathedral with a terracotta-tiled dome engineered by Brunelleschi and a bell tower by Giotto. The Galleria dell'Accademia displays Michelangelo’s “David” sculpture. The Uffizi Gallery exhibits Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” and da Vinci’s “Annunciation.”
