Oldsmobile, a historical brand from General Motors, is often distinguished from the group for being innovative, particularly in the field of transmissions where it was Olds that was the first to offer an automatic gearbox. After an overhaul of its range in 1957, Oldsmobile was also intended resolutely for the higher-end of the market, and as in the supply of General Motors for the 1958 vintage, to distinguish the brand from the crowd, specifically with the Super 88 the cars received an abundance of chrome, which is why it was nicknamed the "Chromesmobile."
Oooooh! What an achievement! A piece of jewelry in gleaming chrome ... What could be better then to use this base for a customization in order? Indeed, this Oldsmobile Super 88 was customized by John D'Agostino, the famous "customizer", recognized globally as a reference point in this art. This time he set his sights on this 1958 vintage Olds, built the car in California, and of course, decided to give it his personal touch. Two visual elements quickly jump to the eye: the roof was lowered (chop-top) and a 3.5-inch grille 1959 Buick replaced the original, with built-in Oldsmobile bumper. To honour the 100th anniversary (the Golden Anniversary) of General Motors Kustom Kars workshop in California did the paint job in pearlescent shade and the interior has leather upholstery, with mirror housings, using three pearlescent shades. The whitewall tires are mounted on chrome wheels, air suspension ensures a pleasant demeanor when "cruising". The car started touring in 2008 and on this occasion, garnered notable success at the "George Barris Kustom d'Elegance. " The Petersen Automotive Museum also found the car interesting enough to expose is as a creation of maestro Agostino. And now to give the car a new life!

Frankfurt, a central German city on the river Main, is a major financial hub that's home to the European Central Bank. It's the birthplace of famed writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose former home is now the Goethe House Museum. Like much of the city, it was damaged during World War II and later rebuilt. The reconstructed Altstadt (Old Town) is the site of Römerberg, a square that hosts an annual Christmas market.
