Spotify has set up an exhibition at the Broadway-Lafayette Street New York City subway station spanning music icon David Bowie's life from his first show at Carnegie Hall through his 20 years of living in the Soho neighborhood. The exhibit is inspired by the "David Bowie is" exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum.

David Bowie lived in the Soho neighborhood of New York. The Broadway-Lafayette subway station has a map of his favorite spots.

David Bowie's quotes are displayed all around the Broadway-Lafayette subway station in New York. "You'd be surprised the places I'm able to go," he said of New York City once.

Famed RCA Studios, which used to be on 24th street in New York, is where pianist Mike Garson auditioned for "Changes." He got the gig.

"I've had a sentimental attachment to this city since I was, like, 17."

Subway riders at the Broadway-Lafayette station in New York, won't be able to forget David Bowie. His quotes are displayed everywhere.

More than 400 memorabilia is on display at the David Bowie exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. Subway riders can get a preview at the Broadway-Lafayette subway station.
