Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat is a fun way to spend the afternoon in Vegas among nature to see white tigers, lions, and dolphins. Located at the Mirage Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, this is your chance to see and engage with amazing animals, from bottlenose dolphins to really big cats. Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat opened at the Mirage Hotel in 1996. The Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat location was the brainchild of legendary magicians, Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn. The Dolphin Habitat actually opened at the resort in 1990 and was later absorbed by the Secret Garden project after it was built.

The exhibit features exotic animals, mostly large cats. While the gardens are definitely used for entertainment purposes, there’s also a huge focus on education, along with the hope to save endangered animals through education, their research facility, outreach, and other contributions.

The display at the Mirage cost them more than $15 million to build and covers an expansive ten acres and draws hundreds and hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Once you’re inside Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, it feels as though you’ve entered a secret world. This attraction feels like so much more than your typical zoo experience that it’s not even fair to compare.

Just picture lush greenery, tropical trees, and built-in waterfalls that are all graced by the presence of white lions and tigers, leopards, panthers, and other large, exotic felines. The beautiful animals are nothing short of majestic as they strut around.

The Dolphin Habitat is another huge element of Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden. Guests can enjoy a dolphin show while relaxing in shaded seating, go on a VIP Tour, or engage one on one with premium interactive experiences.

With their passion for nature and a desire to save endangered animals, the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat location has remained one of the most popular Vegas attractions for adults and children of all ages. Unfortunately, Siegfried and Roy have both passed away in recent years, but their vision to protect endangered animals and bring their love of nature to Vegas is alive and well.

In our opinion, the Dolphin Habitat is more fun than any of the amusement parks we’ve ever been to, at least if you love all aquatic creatures, especially these mesmerizing creatures.

When you enter the Dolphin Habitat, you’ll see a large pool. Sometimes you’ll be able to catch a dolphin show, with stadium-style seating. Even when there’s not a show going on, you can walk up to the pool and watch the trainers feeding and playing with the dolphins. It’s such great fun.
