“HARK”… Means: Pay VERY close attention… special announcement here! The Herald Angels were a GREAT band of Angels placed by The Almighty (God), to proclaim to the Mankind (us), the Birth of the Christ, hence “Glory to the New Born King”.

In religious depictions, "herald angels" are often shown playing trumpets, as the trumpet symbolizes the act of heralding or announcing important news, particularly in the context of biblical events like the Last Judgement where angels would sound trumpets to signal significant occurrences; this is most prominently seen in the Book of Revelation where angels blow seven trumpets to announce apocalyptic events.
